The Library

The Library is well equipped with a vast collection of books. We subscribe for more than 25 international and national journals and magazines. Other than the text book section for the prescribed syllabi of various courses, a good collection of reference books are provided which allows the student to extend his knowledge beyond the curriculum.

The Labs

The college boasts of huge computer laboratories with 80 computers. The Physics, Electronics, Chemistry and Microprocessor laboratories are well equipped with the latest instruments.

Innovative Teaching Techniques

Apart from regular classroom sessions we have innovative and interactive teaching methods which include group discussions, seminars, debates, presentations etc. This not only makes the class interesting but also aids better learning. The educational abilities are also sharpened. The college conducts regular tests to inculcate the habit of regular study and to assess their progress. The report cards are sent to parents.

Foundation courses

The college prepares the aspiring students to face competitive exams like UPSC, APPSC, ICWA, CA, ACS, CAT, ICET etc. by providing necessary material and support.

Sports

The college has made a mark in sports arena. The college cricket team has won many tournaments and many of our students have won titles in running, T.T, boxing, swimming, body building etc. We provide cricket kits, imported table tennis tables, a badminton court, carom boards etc.

NCC

The students of our N.C.C. wing have been selected as best cadets, received national awards and represented the nation to various countries.

The code of conduct for the student

The college has deep faith in inherent goodness of man and believes that self discipline is the best discipline.

• Civility and urban behaviour is expected from students.

• Students are expected to maintain a decent dress code.

• Not attending any of the college examinations without prior permission will be fined at Rs. 50/- per exam.

• Students must take interest in protecting the college property from any kind of damage.

• Students are not supposed to organize group picnics, parties and excursions on their own.

• The student should maintain minimum attendance of 80% in each subject failing which he / she will not be eligible to take the final exam.

• The student must behave very politely with the teaching and non teaching staft.

Failing any of the above the student is liable for serious disciplinary action which includes suspension or even rustication with a bad conduct certificate in extreme cases.

Free student kits
 
On admission each student will be given a free college bag, records, apron & student ID card.

Canteen & Leisure

The college has a huge canteen within the campus. It has automatic Coffee/Tea machines and a bakery.
The canteen also has an attached games room.

To the parent

• Except the parent/guardian no other person will be allowed to come into the college.

• Parents can meet the principal between 10.00 am. And 12.00 noon on all working days through prior appointment.

• Parents are requested to meet the concerned class co-ordinator once in a month.

• Ensure that the college fees is paid at the beginning of each term without fail.

Irregularity of students will be intimated to parents through telephone. So, parents are requested to give the Telephone numbers of Residence / Office / P.P.

Admission of the student will be cancelled if he/she fails to abide by the rules and regulations of the college.
